More in Palpala de Jujuy

After the cardboard plant, we got to go to a school for the blind visually impaired. This is the only school like this in the province of Jujuy.  They hope to train teachers to go out into the Province.
This visit was a prime example of thoughtful attention towards our bios. Oakley worked for 20 years with the blind and visually impaired at the Talking Book Center in Staunton, VA.
I was really impressed with their tactile picture books.  I teared up when I saw them.
Afterwards, we visited cultural centers and the mayor's office.  Th club's president, Ana, was overjoyed to see her third grade teacher in a photo. It's a pleasure on this trip to whitness our host's personal historical connections.
