Stuart Whetsell

Born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Stuart Whetsell now calls Lexington, Virginia home.  He has been in the Lexington area for four years, ever since graduating from Appalachian State University, in Boone, North Carolina.  Stuart currently serves as a Development Officer, in an effort to provide scholarships for college students.  An avid lover of sports and music, Stuart spends his free time playing golf, fishing, and hunting.  He also finds time to cheer on the Atlanta Braves, and the N.C. State Wolfpack in Basketball and Football.  Stuart's claim to fame is he has seen over 100 live concerts, including his favorite band, Widespread Panic, 65 times live.  He attempts to play the banjo and bass guitar, when he is not busy traveling for work.  Stuart's older sister, Elizabeth, is a nurse in Durham, North Carolina, and his parents Wayne and Nila, are residents of Fayetteville, North Carolina.  He has never traveled internationally and hopes that Argentina can give him a good perspective on the world, as well as international fundraising efforts, and financial management.
