Joseph Walker

Joseph was born in Richmond, VA. He has also lived in Macon, Georgia and Alpine, Utah. He has lived in Rockbridge County, VA since 2005. Joseph completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Virginia University, in Buena Vista, VA. He is the second oldest in a blended family of 7 children. Joseph is married to Maria Teresa and they have three sons, Harrison (10), Weston (7) and Keaton (4). When Joseph is not spending time with his family or working, he enjoys reading, exercising, gardening, enjoying music, making books, and home-repair projects. Joseph is an administrator with Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. He enjoys advising students and running the daily operations of the center where he works.  Joseph is very enthusiastic about retaining more of the Spanish language and having a greater appreciation of South American and Latino cultures within the United States. He feels very blessed to be given this opportunity to work with an amazing team and looks forward to the GSE trip to Argentina.
