I'd like to start with thanking EVERYONE we have met along our journey! This trip has been amazing and while I am quiet, I am still listening and taking everything in. I love to hear people speak and hear about their lives. These are some pictures from Rafaela and our trip to Sunchales - which is about 25 minutes from Rafaela. On our ride to Sunchales we came upon an accident where a truck with lots of limes had overturned (see pictures below). We had lunch with some members from the Sunchales club and took a tour of a coorporative insurance company, similar to State Farm. Their campus is gorgeous! The water in the group picture of us outside is rain water that is filtered and used within the facility and is drinkable. The technology that they use not only for their business, but for the building is amazing. The two pictures of the fruit is an edible berry and is pronounced Moodoocucha. Something very different from the US is that trash is picked up everyday and because there are SO MANY stray dogs, they have trash recepticles in front of each house that are raised. See the two pictures below. I like the ones that look like a person. At the Rafaela Rotary Club meeting last night we did a presentation followed by traditional folklore dancing and singing - check out the video at the bottom :) OH and we saw Lili, who was on the Argentina team that came to Virginia in March/April.
