Saying Goodbye to Santa Fe

Yesterday was our last day in Santa Fe and we had a great time!  In the morning we took a boat ride and Rebekah and I each got to take a turn in be "El Capitan!"  After the boat ride we had lunch with the Santo Tome Rotary Club.  We enjoyed empanadas, chicken, and a soup called Locro.  The Locro was very good!  We definitely have not starved on this trip!  I am afraid I am going to gain lots and lots of weight - good thing we do lots of walking!  After lunch and the meeting we took a drive to Parana and on our way had to go into a tunnel that is under the water - the town was amazing!  We enjoyed Churros and coffee.  The dulce de leche churro was my favorite!  We then took a stroll through the city and headed back to Santa Fe for a little bit of down time.  Bekah and I enjoyed a long, brisk walk through the "walking mall" part of the city.  For dinner we returned to the brewery and enjoyed some of the beer and VERY GOOD pizza!  If you can't tell, pizza is one of my favorite foods :)

Upon our arrival in Rafaela today, we all had vocational visits.  Oakley, Stuart, Joe, and I visited a museum and two universities while Bekah met with young children and attended a children's literature class.  Universities here are very different than in the states.  For example, few schools are residential - we have yet to see one that is.  Tuition for private schools is much cheaper than in US as well. For example, the second school we visited today (Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales) costs $1500 for the year and that is for ten classes total.
