Yesterday we arrived in San Vicente. Great people who are very kind and welcoming.
We were bummed to leave Rafaela, because we had grown fond of our host families. Henry, Lilliana, Tukey, and Eduardo had been very accommodating and they helped make our stay in Rafaela a great one.
We were greeted in San Vicente by Guillermo, Griselda, Josephine, and Rosa.
Oakley and I are staying with Guillermo, and he has been awesome. He is a very successful businessman, and has been a Rotarian for 40 years. He is also a two time past district governor.
He set me up with a hunting trip when we arrived yesterday afternoon. I spent about 2-3 hours in the various fields around san Vicente hunting quail, dove, and various other birds. Guillermo then prepared the quail for us to eat for lunch today. It was incredible.
This morning we toured a school for students with special needs and the plaza in the town. Very beautiful place, and the kids were amazing. Very kind and excited to see us. Below are some pictures of my host father, Oakley and I in Rafaela, and some pictures of San Vicente.
What a great place. It just keeps getting better and better. Looking forward to what lies ahead of us.
Stuart, out.
